Came to India on personal emergency - Mother in law passed away suddenly. Had to stamp visa & did drop box as instructed by ustraveldocs wesbite. USCIS returned passports with 221G blue slip asking for bunch of documents & also asking to attend interview. Attended interview on 25th July 2017. After 2 hours of document validation, consulate officer issued another 221G blue slip asking for client letter. Client letter was already in the documents i provided earlier and i showed this to the officer. Officer updated 221G stating they received client letter as well but stated application still needs to go through administrative processing.
Passports & documents were returned & i am told to wait for email notification for further actions
