ym rofI submitted documents on 19th July 2017, I had return flight tickets for 31st July but my status was AP. I had to cancel my tickets. On 1st Aug I got email to collect passport. It came with 221g white slip to appear for interview. 2nd Aug I appeared for interview and got 221g white slip again. I work in three layers and I am subcontractor for prime vender. My end client is state govt. This thing confused consulate a bit(not sure why as this is very usual practice of work in our IT industry). I Submitted documents on 10th Aug and my status got updated for 10th Aug but with same status AP.
24th Aug got a call from US Embassy and there was a lady on other side, She sounded Indian. She asked me few questions on my client and petitioner. I clearly mentioned as my documents stated. That I work as subcontractor and I sit at prime vender location.
I am worried for this As I am paying for everything there in USA but no salary. Also my work is getting affected.
