FTE 3rd H1-B renewal, submitted application via dropbox. Case got updated to admin processing on May 31st and there has no update since. US travel docs escalated my case after 60 days and consulate responded by saying my application is under going additional admin processing under section 221 G. No additional documentation was asked since submission of the application. My company's immigration attorney thinks my case is under going back ground check and there is no requirement on consulates behalf to complete this in any certain time frame.
