Jun 2, 2017 - Interviewed, given yellow slip, asked to wait for admin processing (AP) to complete, passport retained, showed I20 from Stanford, bank statements and police clearance certificates
Jul 3 - AP, date updated on CEAC, called to interview again at consulate
Jul 5 - Interviewed and grilled about an argument with an ALO at New Delhi airport. Told them her conduct was unprofessional, showed them police clearance certificates again.
Jul 21 - AP, CEA Cdate updated
Several emails sent to UStraveldocs but only got generic replies. Told them my semester starts at 15th September and asked to expedite.
Sept 11 - Miraculously, asked to submit passport via phone and confirmed via email, no update on CEAC
Sept 12 - Submitted passport at CGI office in Nehru Place along with email I received, told by VAC officer that processing is complete.
Sept 13 - Status updated on US Travel docs (passport still with consulate), CEAC date update still AP.
Sept 22 - Issued .. but too late...
