My passport was collected. I was given a blue slip and was not asked any additional document on my interview on 6/6/2017.
When asked what was the issue, they said my application only needed some extra processing time.
There was no update at all. I started following up in email after 60 days, but no reply.
Contacted congressman on 9/28/2017 and got an acknowledgement that he followed up with delhi consulate which overlooks Chennai Consulate.
On 10/10/2017, I got an email from uscis that my visa was ready to be collected.The visa stamping states clearance received on 10/4
