I had come to India to renew my stamp and seems like it’s taking longer than expected. At first I qualified for interview waiver Dropbox program so I had dropped off my documents on the 17th oct. Then a few days later I received a call to come to the us consulate for finger prints and interview. At the interview on the 26oct, the interviewer informed me that my visa has been refused under 221g and handed me a white slip. My visa status has since been “administrative processing”. While the interviewer claimed that it is a routine process and it would take a week to get a decision on the renewal, I am hesitant to be confident about that.
My case updated date has changed to 31st of oct but The visa status is still pending.
