Notes:
I was given 221g to submit resume and provide Canada business visit details. VO was more interested in my research and publications as my masters degree was in Aerospace Engineering, though I work for Automotive. Employer submitted requested documents in 3 days. I waited for 30 days in Canada. No update whatsoever. I lost patience and emailed the consulate requesting for an update on the 30th day. Soon after I emailed, the case status date got updated. I received an email back asking to submit my passport. Everything happened within 2 hours. Not sure if the update was supposed to happen on the same day I emailed, or it was because I sent an email. We will never know. I have mailed my passport. Can't wait to get my passport back and get back to the US. AP waiting time is the worst experience. There's no escape from it. Be patient, and be positive.
