I interviewed for h1b stamping in Hyderabad on Nov 22. I had gone to the US on a h4 visa and converted it to F1 cos. I completed my masters and got my OPT but never returned to India during this period for stamping. I was working for a company on OPT meanwhile I changed the company because the first company was not sponsoring my H1. My new company sponsored my H1 while i was still on OPT period so I was never out of status.I came for stamping. Here the interview went well but VO said that he didn't have info related to my masters in his system and he needed to verify that. He put my case on administrative processing. My case has not been updated since nov 22. My college said my SEVIS is perfectly up to date. I have a very good record I am not sure why this is taking so much time. Anyone else has gone through this? Anyone who came for h1b stamping without a F1 stamp. Please reply..
Update: last updated date changed on dec 13 then on 15th. 18th the status changed to Issued.
