In US since 2011 (initially F1). First H1B from 2016 Jan to 2017 Jan. 2016 Dec changed employers and got 3 years extension till 2019 Dec. First H1B stamping. 2nd H4 stamping for wife.
Visa interview at 1030 am in New Delhi on 5th December.
Asked for I797 and Passport.
Salary--gave answer.
Job responsibility--gave answer.
Why do I stay at a different state than my employer -- I work at client location.
I tried to show him LCA but VO was not interested.
Asked from OPT card issued in 2016 -- I said I was issued H1B in Jan 2016 and I was in CPT before that. Showed him the previous I797 but he did not look. He did not ask about the first OPT card I had from first masters.
He gave a 221g yellow slip, said they need to do some checking on their end, need 3-4 weeks.
No document requested.
