I work in EC model. I had been stamped h1B visa 3 times before. But This time unfortunately it is 221g.
31-Nov-2017 : Dropbox in Bangalore VFS office for H1 and H4
07-Dec-2017: Received the passport has 221g asking for appearing for interview, with updated client letter from client personnel stating that my job vacancy is there upon my return. A hand written instructions that wife need not to come to interview but bring both passports.
18-Dec-2017: Appeared for the interview, consular officer asked me very normal question. collected my client letter but return my passport stating that I will receive email with an attachment 221g form which indicates to send your passport for stamping. After the email is received drop passport in same VFS office. But till now there is no updates on status.
My only worry is Till today my client have not received any communication form consulate/Embassy.
Is it mandatory that 221g client letter requested cases definitely they will contact the client
