Notes:
I work at a biopharma start up and this is my first H1B stamping. I was on F1-OPT earlier and got converted to H1B on 01Oct17. The VO asked me basic questions about when I graduated, OPT, my job description and salary. She then said that further information is required and directed me to another counter where an Indian lady gave me the 221g white form. Nothing specific was checked off and I was asked to submit documents like my CV, past and current experience, research, travel information/purpose, itinerary etc. She said it will take 3-4 weeks. I submitted the documents next day and waiting since then for some update. It has been very frustrating so far...
