Travelled with My son for some personal stuff. Visited Consulate for the first time stamping for H1B. Already in the USA for four years out of which 3 years 7 months on L1B. COS did in the USA from 01-Oct-17.
VO asked nominal Questions and after typing something asked me to visit another counter. Indian lady at other counter took the passports and then handed over a white slip and asked me to submit Resume, Experiences, Research, Itenerey, travel history etc.
Talk to Company attorney and he marked the documents to Consulate via email.
And now waiting endlessly and every hour is frustrating. My son who is in 8th Grade is missing the school. Already cancelled the tickets.

It was ok till I was working in the USA and as soon as I out of the USA, all these very high qualified VO found that such and such candidates need additional processing. What a nightmare.?
I do not know why USA device some mechanism to stop the real fraud rather punish like this.
and there is no update on CEAC
