Notes:
This was my 2nd H1-B extension and I never got my previous H1-B stamped in India (never visited India between Oct 1, 2014 - Sep 30, 2017 after my entry to US in May, 2014). I attended the interview with my spouse for H4 renewal as well. Interviewing officer asked me to provide my previous I-797 ((2014-2017) and I provided that. I had a DUI arrest in 2012 but the case was reduced to negligent driving. The officer asked about it and verified the panel physician report and case documents. He was not overly concerned about the arrest as it was thoroughly vetted during my 2013 visa stamping when I had to go through panel physician. The officer told us that our visas were approved. But on 30th Nov, 2017, I received an email with 221-G blue slip asking for my previous I-94s and 797s. I submitted those documents on the same day. over 2 months now and no news yet. I am wondering if I need to request my employer to send an email to the consulate. Any help/information would be appreciated. Thanks
