I filed case inquiry on Jan 22nd, received response Jan 28th saying that it was being processed within standard processing time of California Service Center. I called a couple more times, consulted 5-6 lawyers to see if there was absolutely anything I can do to expedite the process -
the answer was no. (There is an expedited process request you can file, but the lawyers advised me that they can do it but that most likely it won't affect the outcome.)
Also to note, the information at the Customer Service center is the same as the one that can be found in USCIS website - several months lag but looks like that is the best they can provide. It was such long wait for me, and I felt I owe it to this community to share my experience, since I have been checking this site every day. Good luck to all!
