I work for a robotics company, and had my visa stamped about 2 years ago, but the stamp on my passport was for 2 years, although my visa was valid for 3 years. My visa went through administrative processing last time as well.
During the interview the consulate officer asked me if work for a robotics company and a few related questions. I was then told, there was no reason why my visa would not be approved, but there may be a delay due administrative processing.
