Asked abt company, salary, location, how many h1b's in the company etc and then issued me 221(g) requesting for SOW & Itinerary of services
May 2nd: Received email to submit passport after 136 days from document submission.
May 8th : Last updated date changed to 8th May
May 10th : Around 12.30 IST Noon status changed to Issued.
May 12th : Received stamped passport
None of my clients or employer were contacted. Waited for 60 days but would call support( +91 120 4844644 or +91 40 46258222) once a week but they did not have any info. After 90 days reached out to Congressman and Senator. They followed up but were given standard response. Then Employer called NVC ( +1 603-334-0700.)to check if there was any SAO initiated. There was nothing initiated on my case .Had read that SAO take about 5-6 months for clearance. Exactly after 5 months received email to submit passport. Had converted H4 to H1b in USA, was working since 2.5 yrs there & this could be the reason for 221g. Good luck to all
