I have a H1B transfer to new employer and had valid H1B stamping from previous employer. I submitted my application through Dropbox but was called in for an interview on December 12th. The officer asked standard questions and handed me a yellow 221g asking to submit additional docs through email to Mumbai consulate. I submitted the docs on January 2nd and received a confirmation email.
Dec 20 - CEAC update on the day of the interview
Apr 3 - Sent an email to Mumbai consulate for update since it’s been 90+ days
Apr 4 - Mumbai consulate responded that the petition is returned to USCIS for review
If anyone else is in similar situation, please respond. How long could it take now? Is there anyway to track the case at USCIS? WHat are the next steps?
