VO asked questions about myself, employer and client. Collected my LCA, I797, W2, pay stubs, Old Passport ( to validate my L1) and new passport. After 45 mins of wait time I was called again and the VO gave back all my documents including passport. Gave me 221(g) blue slip with the reason “your blanket L1 is not clearly approvable under section 8 CFR 214.2. I was not given a chance to ask questions why was it checked when I’m for my H1 or to explain the same. I wrote an email to [email protected] and got a reply stating that the reason marked is an error and should be read as administrative processing. Case update date still shows March 21, 2018. There was a client verification happened on March 29, 2018. What could be the next step and how long will it take to get an update in these kind of cases generally?
April 18- got an email to submit my passport; April 19- Submitted my passport; April 23- Case date updated after a month and 2 days; April 24- Ststus changed to issued;
