Renewing H1 for 4th time. Traveled to India on vacation after a long time.
03/12 - Biometrics
03/13 - Attended Interview. VO asked standard questions about location, duration, profile of job, etc. He asked client invite and LCA. Gave me the yellow slip and made me wait for a few mins. Went back to VO while he was talking with someone else with my passport in hand. He then gave me a 221g blue slip for admin processing. No additional docs asked. He gave back my passport as well. I work in EC model
03/26 - My client was contacted for project duration, duties.
04/06 - Got email to submit passports to VAC. Submitted on same day
04/10 - Last update date changed but still in AP
04/11 - Case status changed to 'Issued' in CEAC site
04/12 - Passport status was moved to 'Returned from Consulate. Passport being processed for Delivery'
04/13 - Got the passport in hand
The process was really painful, but nevertheless things worked out.
