Q: When was the last time you visited the US?A: I currently live and work there Q: Who is your employer? A: I stated the name of the company (Fortune 500 Tech company) Q: What is your role? A: Product manager Q: Can I see your I797 A: yes, handed VO: I see that you were "out of status" between your F1 (opt) to H1B, we will need to give it to administrative processing Me: How long will it take I have a flight set and work to get back to. VO: "at least 10 business days, but I can not give you advice on how to manage your schedule", No slip was given nor additional documents were requested. He kept my passport, handed me a pamphlet describing my rights while working in the US and sent me on 4/5-Interview with VO 4/10-Status changed to AP 4/12-Status changed to "Issued" 4/13-Provided with tracking # for the passport, should be here ain 2-3 business days
