Greetings all,
Interview date: Feb 13th 2018
Usual questions asked. VO handed me yellow slip and asked for
1. Employment contract (offer letter)
2. Company tax returns for last 2 years
3. Project description
Feb 14: Manager submitted all the documents and received ack
March 21: Employer got a verification call
March 26: Verification complete. Employer submitted extra supporting documents like my paystub for last 2 months and office lease for last 2 years
Officer told my manager that I should be ok and should hear back within next 2 weeks.
June 14: escalated case via service desk
July 5: received email asking to submit passport, I-797 and 221g letter
July 6: case last updated date changed for the 1st time
July 9: status changed to "Issued" at 2:30 PM IST
Just wanted to share that my employer is very small (3 full-time employees) and yet my visa was approved as my employer was genuine. If your records are clear and your company is legit you will get approval. Good luck!
