Masters, Ph.D. in STEM from reputed universities in USA. Full time tenure track faculty job. Status already changed from F-1 STEM OPT to H-1B. Had to go for 1st time H1-B stamping while visiting India. Fingerprint and photo: 11-May-2018, Interview: 14-May-2018, Smooth Interview, White Slip Given, Document (Resume, Research Plans, and various others about 10 that are on the list) Submitted: 14-May-2018, Administrative Processing pending.....Expedition Requested: 2-Jun-2018, Generic Reply...wait for 60 days...Missed Summer Teaching...Class canceled....Last Updated: 15-Jun-2018, Visa Issued: 18-Jun-2018, Passport Collected: 22-Jun-2018, Return USA: 23-Jun-2018 PS: My case was created on May 11 2018, not May 14 2018. On the visa it says: Clearance received on 14-Jun-2018, Visa Issued: 18-Jun-2018. Uncle Sam is saying to employers, don't hire internationals or go through torture. If they don't care canceling class, higher education, or research, good luck to all IT people waiting.
