Graduated with PhD in Robotics Engineering, working as a postdoctoral fellow at a prestigious university. Appeared for F1 renewal on STEM OPT. Here is the timeline.
May 23: Appeared for the interview and got 221g blue sleep
July 3: Case status updated but still in AP
July 5: Received an email from the consulate to submit the passport, case status still AP
July 10: Case update date changed to 10th July but status still AP
July 11: Case status changed to Issues and also received an email from the consulate which was a reply to my previous email
July 12: Received Canada-post shipping notification with the tracking number
July 13: Picked-up the passport from the Canda-post, the visa tamp says "Clearance received on 21June". Consulate didn't send other documents collected during interview(even original I20).
Rather than wasting time with consulate, requested I20 from my Institute.
