8/2/2018:
E2 Immigrant visa for kids (adopted) through I-130. I'm a PR holder with children still in India and opted for consular processing for them.
Consular Interview on 8/2/18.
Consular mentioned they need to verify the legality of adoption deed submitted and did not ask for any further documentation.
8/7/2018: Date updated, but still showed Administrative Processing.
8/14/2018: Reached out to state senator for help. They said they will help asking info from consulate, but decision is still the state department's.
8/15/2018: Senator sent letter to consulate general requesting status.
8/17/2018: Consulate general responded with the same message (60 days etc), but did mention they're aware of the urgency.
8/20/2018: Date updated, but still shows Admin Processing.
8/23/2018: Date updated, but still shows Admin Processing.
