I had the interview on aug 21st, got the green slip, submitted docs within 2 days, still waiting for approval. VO only asked if I had a degree in chem engg. and gave me the green slip. its been close to 12 weeks now. Is this kind of delay normal? Should I be taking any steps? or just wait?
This is second renewal. Green slip had exact same questions as that asked last time. Answered exactly the same response as nothing has changed. Still they are taking so long to review. Its been 12 weeks now from the date of interview.
Nov 8 attorney sent an email to US consulate to check the status. Online status showing admin processing
Nov 28 consulate replies to attorney saying applicant was sent an email to submit passport on nov 8. Online status still unchanged
Never received any email or sms to submit passport
Nov 29 submitted passport
Nov 30 - status date updated but still showing admin processing
Dec 3 - status changed to issued.Finally collected stamped passport.
