I used to be a direct employee of Client 2 years back, and my H1 visa was annotated with the then employer name. I came back to India for some personal issues.
VO asked the following questions:
1. Where are you going?
2. Name of the client?
3. What's your highest educational qualification?
4. Salary?
5. Do you have a vendor?
6. Can I see your client letter?
Then realized I was a direct employee of my end client previously.
7. Why are they hiring you as a contractor now when previously you were an employee?
Gave a yellow slip and asked to wait.
Second VO called and asked me the following questions:
1. Were you in the US for 10 years before?
2. When did you last travel to the US? (I traveled on B1 twice after my H1 two weeks each time)
3. How did you know your current employer?
4. Why end client didn't hire you as an employee again?
Waited again
VO1 called again and gave 221g blue slip and returned the ppt.
My ppt will have less than 6 months validity in 6 weeks
