Applied for H-1B renewal via dropbox (1st renewal after 3 years on H-1B).
Here is the timeline:
13th Nov 2018- Submitted documents via dropbox
20th Nov 2018- Passport returned to mailing address with Green slip asking for fingerprint + interview
21st Nov 2018- Fingerprint + Interview with VO, asked following questions
1. Did you ever worked on OPT
Ans- Yes
2. Are you working for petitioning company or client company
Ans- petitioning company
3. What is your salary
VO said visa is approved but did not mention timeline when I will get my passport back.
14 Dec 2018 (IST)- Visa application approved. Used https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx for checking status.
Waiting on stamped passport to be mailed
