I went for interview at US consulate-Sydney for my H1B extension.
Interviewer asked me normal questions and handed Greenslip with "Admin processing" checkbox selected.
How many hours do you work per week?
What's your masters degree field?
Have you read the US employee rights manual ?
Interviewer retained my passport and Employer letter(No docs requested).
When I asked interviewer "How long does it take", his reply was I don't know.
It has been 59 days and there is no status update.
I emailed consulate requesting info but it has been more than 6 working days but no response yet.
This wait time is really painful. I have been working with the same employer and client from past 3 years.
Should anything else has to be done from my side? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you !!
