Jan 23rd : Went for my H1b renewal stamping on Jan 23rd, was given a 221g white slip. have been with same employer for 11 years and was my 3rd Visa stamping
Jan 26th : Document and report submitted
April 4th : Senator did an immigration inquiry on my case after 60 days and he was informed that they are waiting on my passport, My VO collected my passport on the day of interview along with other documents so that leaves me baffled to the situation where i stand. Is there
anyone who is in my shoes.
April 11th: Case Updated date changed for first time
April 12th: Issued
April 12th : Collected passport from VAC center but original I-797 and Other documents which were submitted during interview were not returned.
Status : Issued, None of the original documents which were retained during Visa interview by Visa officer were returned with passport.
