I am on my 7th year h1b. Work in EVC. Extension approved with same employer. In US from 2006, Masters in US+140 approved
Dec 10 2018: VAC appointment
Dec 11 2018: Interview. Counter#11 some basic questions. Took me inside consulate to Counter#2, 1hr long interview - asked all my US history and employer related question. Issued 221g white slip.
Dec 12 2018: Got a call from HYDFPU to email LCA and Client Letter
Dec 22 2018 - Jan 25 2019: US Govt. shutdown
Jan 12 2019: Waited..Waited.with no response. My son was NOT doing well and wife had to join work. They travelled back to US alone. Worst time of my life to see my family departing. No hope whatsoever if I will join them or what will happen to us :(
Jan 30 2019: Got a call from HYDFPU to send few work email screenshots
Feb 8 2019: Client verification email received
Feb 14 2019: Client replied. Delayed due to client attorney
Feb 21 2019: Email to submit passport
Mar 1 2019: Issued!
221(g) sufferings are horrible! no one should get this!
