VO: do you have your I-797A
Me: Handed the I-797A/H1B
Interview: April 8th

May 2nd status changed to issued.
Visa officer made a copy of my I-797A, retained the passport and handed me 221g white slip with additional admin processing is required.
No other documents were asked though. I came to India on an emergency with my two daughters, and got an 221g even though I am an FTE. Only hope is they have retained my passport. My employer does not allow remote work and told me I must report on-site by April 22nd. At this point, I was only told to wait until the status changes.
