I had an H1B visa interview on 13 Jun 2019. VO asked me some basic questions like client name, salary, work location, and kind of work I will be doing. I have H4 stamped in my passport, but I never traveled to the US before. Once VO saw H4 stamped in my passport he started asking a question about my wife H1B and finally he gave me a yellow slip asking me to submit my wife W2 form, my 5-year salary slip, and bank statement and some other H1b documents.
I have submitted all the documents on 16 June and not heard back anything since then. I am also not sure if they have contacted my client manager for client verification.
Anybody has any idea if client verification happens in every case?
I hope I will hear something soon.
