Here is the background related to my case.
I had appeared for an interview regarding B1/B2 Visa on 11th July 2017, since the mentioned date my case was put under administrative processing and I was asked to fill the DS-5535 on a sheet of paper after the interview was completed.
I was also asked to produce Police Clearance Certificate from the Regional Passport Office on 8th November 2017 and the requested documents were presented to Visa Officer in person on 27th November 2017. However my B1/B2 Visa was approved and I received the clearance on 23rd Feb 2019 after a long wait of over 19 months.
Recently I appeared for an interview regarding H1B Visa along with my spouse on 21st June 2019 my case was approved by the visa officer. Later on 24th June I received an email from US Consulate General, Mumbai stating my case has been put under Administrative Processing for further review and I was asked to fill out the same DS-5535 form which I had filled during the B1/B2 Visa interview.
