On June 17th, I submitted my passport at VFS Delhi. On June 20th received an email:"Passport ready for collection". Passport collected the same day.
Visa not issued, i was asked to go for an interview to the US embassy next day.
On June 21st I went to the embassy at 9am. The staff at US embassy asked me to skip the queue and go straight for fingerprints. After fingerprints, they asked me to again skip the queue and go straight to the counter for my interview.
The interviewer asked me client's name, employer's name, highest education, client location, job title. He checked something on his computer and went away for 2 mins. He gave me 221g with a blue slip and asked to email i797, i129 petition, Cover letter sent to DHS with the petition application, LCA, Client letter, itinerary of services, contract and internal project description.
Sent the email to US Consulate on June 24th. Client received a questionnaire on July 19th. He responded the same day.
No update since then. Please advise
