On 10/10/19 I submitted my documents at Mumbai. This was my first dropbox experience, 4th H1B stamping (3rd from the same employer) and also had B1 & L1A visas in the past.
On 10/18/19 I received the passport, with a 221(g) green slip asking me to appear for an interview on any working day between 10:30-11am.
On 10/21/19, I appeared for the interview which was pretty brief (employer? salary? job duties? do you work for a client?). Officer then asked me about my DUI/Reckless Driving case (details in comments). Approved my visa, but kept my papers related to the case and said the passport will be sent in 3-5 business days.
On 10/22/19 case status updated at https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==
It is 10/25 & at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome the passport status says "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery".
Return flight is for Nov-3 & am getting anxious.
