I attended a visa appointment in Hyderabad Consulate on 12/09/19, I was issued a 221(g) (Attached) white slip. No documents were asked during the interview and the slip does not mention any document. Additionally, my passport was retained by the Visa Officer. I was surprised because no documents were asked and I was issued administrative processing.
I walked in for verifying my fingerprints before the interview, they set me in a separate line and asked to wait for 15 mins because I had filed my DS-160 for Mumbai Consulate initially and booked an appointment in Hyderabad Consulate because of the availability and they were getting my information ready. Vo asked basic questions in a rapid-fire format and gave cold-shouldered look handing white slip by saying this slip has additional steps. Itt doesn't have any steps
