- H1B 3rd time renewal and visiting india for stamping after 5 years.
- finger scan done on 23rd Dec 2019 at hyderabad consulate
- interview for H1 done today 26th Dec 2019
- VO asked very basic questions (work location, salary, designation)
- After typing something for couple of minutes she asked if I visited any countries other than US. I said NO.
- Then she asked if I have changed my name ever.. Again answer NO. (BTW I have a very common sur-name)
- Then she said if I am aware of my rights by pointing at pamphlet. I said yes.
- After one more minute of typing she said my case needs additional administrative processing and handed me the white slip.
- she said no other documents needed from my side and no questionnaires to fill. She kept my passport.
- When I asked her if I need to change my return flights ticket because of the 221g delays, she said the processing should not take more than a week. I hope this is positive if I trust what she said but fingers crossed.
