Just had my interview in South Africa and wondering if anyone has had a similar scenario and can report timeline because I’m desperate to get back to school
Visa Type: F1 visa renewal
Consulate: in South Africa
Interview Date: December 17
Documents Requested: no, passport kept at embassy at time of interview
Last Update Date: nothing. Says administrative processing and was Last updated on my interview date
Result: waiting
VO said she needed to check something with SEVIS. I had fallen out of status last year but it was corrected however it still showed up as a flag on her end. I don’t know how long this takes.
First case update: 6 Jan STILL AP
Second case update: 9 Jan still AP
