Hi everyone,
My case: H4 to H1B transfer
Interview date: Nov 25, 2019
I was handed a yellow slip with a request for further documentation. I was carrying all the documents but guess the counselor needed them to be emailed directly to the consulate by my employer.
Documents submitted: Dec 2, 2019, delayed by a couple of days due to Thanksgiving holidays
Its been close to 5 weeks...no updates.
The call center provides a very prescriptive response to call back only after 180 days have been exhausted. Canceled my return ticket. I thought I had kept sufficient time in between interview and return flight...
No idea how long this wait is going to be. The uncertainty is very disturbing. Guess the only thing one can do is wait.
Any idea what kind of email id will the communication be sent from if the consulate emails an applicant? Thanks for the help!
