Notes:
Been in the US for 9 years. Previously a F-1 PhD student. I have been pink slipped twice for that F-1 visa. The second time was TAL. Currently work at a national lab through a University in Quantum Optics and nanofabrication, since April 2018. STEM-extension for OPT changed to H1B in August, 2019. Traveled to India for stamping after end of year. Wasn't necessary but decided it would be good for international conferences. 3rd Jan, 2020 interview. Last question was: Do you work with any materials? (This generally means that TAL is being invoked) Given a pink slip and asked to submit all documents (Invitation letter, research, travel, publications). Sent an inquiry to [email protected] and [email protected] on 26th Jan. Got generic reply from both. Send second inquiry to CHENNAIHL on 21st Feb. No reply besides the automated one. I think they simply ignored me. 27/02/18: First status date change in 52 days. 28/02/18: Visa "Issued" and in "final processing"
