Been in the US since 2009. Was asked why I did a change of status from the US and not come back to India to get a H4. Then was asked to submit every change/extension of status for me and my wife since 2009 along with proof of school attendance while in the US also asked for proof of marriage and proof that our child was born in the US. Also asked for my wife's employment history and information regarding her employment and the company she works for. Passport was returned after the interview but was requested to be submitted along with other documents of the 221g slip.
Submitted everything 02/13 embassy received documents 02/14 since them it was under AP
Last action date changed to 02/28 but still in AP.
