I had my emergency appt for H1 visa t HYD consulate on 29th Dec. VO asked me the basic questions (Do u work for Client or EMP?, EMP name, Client Name? Salary? How long have u been working with your EMP? while tying something in the system and gave 221g white form with the second box ticked. She said we would need some additional processing before approving your visa. She also said, that don't worry you will receive your passport in 5-10 business days. She did not ask for any additional docs either.
When I check for the status online, on the day of interview(Dec 29th) it showed as Admin Processing .
The next day (Dec 30th), it changed to Application Received and check back the status in 2 business days.
It's been more than 2 business days, but I do not see any updates to my application.
Is it Normal? Should I contact the help desk about this?
