Attended the visa interview on 11 of jan 2021.
The officer only asked me about purpose of travel, then started typing for a little bit and handed me the 221(g) refusal slip which states additional administrative processing is required. To fill the DS5535 and to submit 3 extra documents, personal CV, letter from employer with job description, work plans.
Status updates:
9 Feb 2022: Received email form embassy to submit my passport, the visa status on the website still shows as Refused, sent passport same day.
14 Feb 2022: Visa status on website turned to Administrative Processing.
15 Feb 2022: Visa status on website is now "Issued"
