Had my first H1B & H4 interview in Karachi on 01/03/22. CO asked the usual questions and gave blue slip requesting prior travel & employment history. No updates on CEAC website since interview date
01/03/22: Interview + documents requested in email and replied to
01/31/22: Emailed embassy who responded that case is still under Admin Processing and no updates
06/01/22: Filed Mandamus lawsuit
07/14/22: Email to pick up passport received
My recommendation: if it's been more than 60 days since you've been into AP, it is definitely worth getting a consultation with a lawyer and I discuss whether Mandamus will help get your case unstuck.
