Just adding an extra data point for fellas that me that were looking for some answers like me.
02/28/2022. Interview data. I was given pink 221g administrative processing form, Passport was collected. The case status in the CEAC is refused
02/28/2022. a questionnaire was sent to my email (ds 5535 questions but without the form just email)
02/28/2022. Responses submission the same day.
03/05/2022. first response from embassy, they asked me to resubmit the responses in a word document and not in the email ( I lost one week here)
03/15/2022. I emailed the embassy no response
03/30/2022. I emailed the embassy. I asked them just to tell them that my case is being taken care of. They responded saying my case is still under AP
04/18/2022. My case status changed from refused to AP
04/21/2022. My case status date changed from 04/18 to 04/21, but the status was still AP
04/22/2022. My case status changed to issued
