I gave my interview on 17th June where the Visa Office took my passport and told me that my Visa was approved and that I can collect my passport within 5 business days. Later on 22nd I received an email stating I applied for a Visa interview wavier and that they have to interview me. When I emailed them stating I didn't apply for a Visa interview wavier and that I have already given my interview, they replied asking me to come back for a re-interview on 24th June. When I went to the consulate on 24th June at the given time, the officer returned my passport to me along with a 221(g) and told me that I'd receive an email asking for additional details. She told me the quicker I give a reply to that email the quicker they'll be able to start processing my request. I later got an email asking me to fill in an attached DS-5535 form, which I filled and submitted on the same day. Now I am waiting for an update!
