Already have an approved, stamped and unexpired L-1B visa, was advised to switch to H-1B visa, which was completed and approved while I was in the US (status adjusted). Following a trip back to the UK, I went to get the stamp for the H-1B visa, and am now in this mess!
Was given the DS 5535 "extreme vetting" questions to fill out and email, though the form I received made no mention of "DS 5535".
August 2nd 2022: Status still showing as "Refused".
September 6th 2022: Status still showing as "Refused".
November 10th: Received email to submit passport for visa issuance.
December 5th: Status now showing as "Approved"
December 19th: Passport received with stamp
