i was given a 221g green slip on October 28th. no documents were asked/requested and my passport was given back to me.
my case was updated on November 2nd, 7th and 10th, however no more updates have been given since.
we applied for a G1 visa however i’m not the principle holder. i am only a dependent. i have been stranded here for two months now and i’ve been struggling to find other people who have been given a 221g with the same visa category. it seems that 221g’s are most common in K visas or spouse visas. was wondering if anyone has had the same experience.
221g got approved March 16 2023. Currently residing in the United States.
