me and my wife applied for B2 visa for Tourism purposes on 16th aug 2013, my wife was issued the visa and her passport was retained. But I was given a white slip with a case number and was asked to reply to a email that would be sent. My passport was returned right away. As far as i remember, the officers last question to me was " what is my full name? post which he called 2 other officers and showed them something on the screen as if he was comparing info. As far as i know, my name is correct in all my previous ds 160, so the problem could be because of a common muslim name or the fact that i mentioned about my upcoming business of pharmacy ( general medical store) in the latest ds 160...so that might be a TAL scenario for them as pharmocology or pharmaceutical is mentioned in TAL list. Well, I gt the email the same day and replied to it yesterday? well, need suggestions here as my travel dates are 30th AUG 2013 and my wifes VISA is approved...Need advice?
