Got status update today (Feb 2). Hopefully the approval will come soon.
Passport submission email came in on Feb 2 evening. Submitted the passport to my local VAC.
They said it might take a week or so to get back the passport with the visa stamped.
Another status update today. Hopefully the approval will come soon.
Status changed today Feb 9 to Issued. Waiting for the Blue Dart Courier to deliver it to Bengaluru.
What should have taken 3 weeks or so ended up taking nearly 9 weeks and took a month and a half of my salary as well.
Collected the passport today (Feb 12) from the USTraveldocs branch office in Bengaluru.
